Diversitat.Net was initially conceived at the end of 2004 by translator Carlos Garcia. Its primary objective was to address the communication barrier faced by the non-English-speaking Hispanic community residing in San Francisco, California, when seeking healthcare services.
The concept underwent several conceptual iterations at progressively increasing speeds after 2009, with input from various professionals in multiple languages. It finally became a reality in 2022, formally launched under the DiversityPM banner.
Today, the organization is headquartered in San Francisco, California, bearing the name Diversitat.Net. Its comprehensive charter encompasses harnessing and unleashing the power of diversity thinking across all industries, languages, cultures, and sectors of life, from corporate offices and customer-facing fronts to personal endeavors. It is noteworthy that some of the most iconic brands, innovative concepts, and consequential products emerged not from boardrooms but from countless garages across the world.
